MCP server

Connect your AI assistant to your Chask map

The Chask Constellation MCP server lets assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT read and edit your organization map: floors, people, platforms, connections and processes. You decide what it can do, and it always acts with your permissions.

Server URL

Use this address when you add Chask as a connector or remote MCP server in your client.

https://map.chask.io/mcp

The connection uses OAuth: when you connect, the client opens the Chask sign-in and asks you to approve read and edit access to the map. No keys or tokens needed.

How to connect

You need a Chask account and to belong to at least one organization. Pick your client:

Claude (web and desktop)

  1. Open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose “Add custom connector”, name it Chask and paste the server URL.
  3. Click Connect, sign in to Chask and approve the permissions.
  4. In a conversation, turn on the Chask connector from the tools menu.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors.
  2. Create a new connector with the server URL and OAuth authentication.
  3. Sign in to Chask and approve the permissions.
  4. Pick Chask from the conversation tools.

Claude Code

  1. Add the server from your terminal with this command:
claude mcp add --transport http chask https://map.chask.io/mcp
  2. Then open /mcp inside Claude Code and choose Chask to sign in.

Other MCP clients

  1. Any client that supports remote MCP (streamable HTTP and OAuth) can connect: add an HTTP server with the URL above.
  2. The client discovers the authentication on its own and opens the Chask sign-in.

What it can do

The assistant works on the organizations you belong to, and only on the floors you can view or edit.

Read the map

Look up floors, people, platforms and connections, search by name and review the change history.

Edit the map

Create floors, add people and platforms, connect them, move nodes and auto-arrange a floor.

Processes

Create and update processes with their steps, review process suggestions and archive the ones you no longer use.

Guided setup

See what your map is missing and move through the initial setup step by step.

Automation design

Ask the canvas agent to draw how a connection works and turn it into an automation.

Team and invitations

Look up teams, invite the people on your map and resend invitations.

Examples to get started

Talk to your assistant naturally. A few examples:

  • Show me my organization map and summarize which processes we have.
  • What is my map missing to be complete? Guide me step by step.
  • Add Ana, an accountant, to the Finance floor and connect her to the ERP she uses for invoicing.
  • Create the “Monthly invoicing” process: Ana prepares the invoice in the ERP and Simón approves it.
  • Find where Slack appears on the map and who uses it.
  • Arrange the Operations floor so people sit on the left and platforms on the right.

Permissions and safety

  • It acts as you. Every action uses your Chask permissions: it only sees the organizations you belong to and respects each floor's access.
  • You choose the scope. When you connect you approve reading and, if you want, editing the map. You can disconnect the connector from your client at any time.
  • Sensitive actions are flagged. Deleting nodes or connections and archiving floors or processes are marked as destructive so your client asks you to confirm.
  • Invitations need your OK. Inviting someone or resending an invitation sends a real e-mail, so the assistant must confirm it with you first.
  • Everything is logged. Changes made by the assistant show up in the map's action history.

Privacy

The MCP server uses the same data and the same rules as the Chask app. We do not store your conversations with the assistant: we only receive the actions it requests on the map.

Support

Something not working, or questions about the connector? Write to us and include the client you use (Claude, ChatGPT or another) and, if you can, the approximate time of the problem. Use the same address to report a security issue.
